ANTHEMS – Up In Mine

Tropical beats, savory pan flutes, escapist Balearic nostalgia, and a voice sweet as candy are the essential parts that form “Up In Mine”, the debut single from Anthems. The group consists of a young (presumably) UK vocalist and the French producer duo Champions League – most known as the founders of the Parisian label 25 Years & Running. “Up In Mine” was premiered by Gorilla vs. Bear earlier this week, which usually means a lot of hype and blog fame. Not a bad way to make an entrance. While not revealing anything new under the sun, it’s music that facilitates good moods – which is vital enough as the current temperature seems firmly positioned around zero (that is Celsius my dear Americans).
